Many victims of the Nazi horror who once found shelter in Argentina were harshly hit by the country’s economic crisis. Today, they are more than eighty years old, and the frailty of their age has become more severe due to the memories of their own past. 

With its Assistance Program for Holocaust Survivors, Fundación Tzedaká addresses the basic and social needs of Nazism’s victims in Argentina, while preventing the isolation of such a unique group of people. 

The Holocaust survivors who used to live at social risk now receive food, medicines, health insurance, as well as gerontology, psychological, and psychiatric treatments from this Program, which also provides home caregivers and housing aid. The Program also focuses on survivors’ social integration, offering permanent workshops intended to encourage them to stay active and to expand their social networks.
